Denco Family Inc. wins Marketer of the Year award with Denny’s

During Virtual Denny’s DFA Convention, Rahul Marwah, Owner of Denco Family, Inc., received “Marketer of the Year” award by Chief Marketing Officer John Dillon.
 
John spent a considerable amount of time detailing the reasons for the award given to Rahul Marwah-

 

  • Grocery program (pushed hard and was willing to lose money or cover cost to help the community and his team)
  • Military Group Meals Initiative (beginning of Group Meals / ezCater initiative)
  • Facebook Editor Access (pushed for access to be able to boost posts)
  • Participated and Led discussions on weekly DMA calls
  • Donated food for several frontline initiatives
  • Rahul Marwah shared an idea with Dennys back in May 2020 suggesting that we look at offering Free Delivery for Denny’s Rewards members for balance of year.  That helped drive the development of the “Make a purchase, Get Free Delivery for rest of 2020” promotion that ran for Denny’s Rewards members in August 2020.
  • Rahul Marwah championed and tested the ‘Make at Home Meal Kits’. 
  • Rahul Marwah is a big believer and active user of the Punchh platform to connect with his rewards members on a weekly basis to drive sales, traffic and frequency.
  • Rahul Marwah was one of the first to add patio dining to his locations when dining rooms closed.   He invested in commercial grade tents, lighting and décor to accommodate customers.  He has continued enhancing his patio dining spaces with heaters during the cooler months.
